The Nantucket Comedy Festival is a nonprofit organization that uses laughter to empower, engage, and inspire through its annual festival and the year-round Stand Up & Learn workshops. We envision a community connected by laughter, and we strive to foster an inclusive, enjoyable atmosphere at each of our events.
What is Stand Up & Learn?
Stand Up & Learn is a nationally-recognized comedy education program for ages 8–18. Stand Up & Learn workshops empower kids to build self-confidence while learning to create and perform original stand-up comedy. This art form provides a wealth of skills that can be applied to the real world, including storytelling, creative writing, self-confidence, interpersonal communication and public speaking.
Is the Nantucket Comedy Festival a benefit?
The only thing better than a hilarious comedy Festival is a hilarious comedy Festival that contributes to the growth and education of young people. The Nantucket Comedy Festival is the major fundraiser for the kids’ comedy education program, Stand Up & Learn.
